The 2013 Chevrolet Avalanche is available in three trims: LS, LT and LTZ. All three trims are available with either a rear-wheel or four-wheel drivetrain. All Avalanche models sport a Vortec 5.3L V8 SFI FlexFuel engine and six-speed automatic transmission. The LS and LT trims come with a Premium Smooth Ride Suspension, while the LTZ has a standard Autoride Suspension Package. The LT does have an Off-Road Suspension Package available as an option. A heavy-duty locking rear differential is standard on the LT and LTZ, optional on the LS.
