What's New?

The Chevy Bolt EUV is a brand-new vehicle, expanding our lineup's options among EVs and hybrid vehicles. EVs are quickly gaining popularity these days, so choosing one from a brand you're familiar and comfortable with like Chevy is a great way to start off, as you'll have plenty of features and amenities that you're already accustomed to. We'll also provide first-time EV drivers with plenty of guidance and assistance when it comes to finding reliable charging options or setting up your own special charging station at home.

Chevy Bolt EUV Performance and Driving Range

For capabilities, the new Chevy Bolt EUV's electric motor setup produces a flat 200 horsepower, which is a nice figure for an EV. This is also a vehicle with front-wheel drive only, though we're imagining future versions will provide AWD capabilities as an option. When fully charged, the Bolt EUV's 65-kWh battery pack provides you with 250 miles of eco-friendly and smooth and quiet driving. That's probably several days, at least, of daily commuting and driving around Summerville and North Charleston, areas that are seeing more and more public charging stations pop up these days. You can charge for several hours - we recommend doing this overnight - with a regular, household style outlet, while you may do well to install a 240-volt connection for quicker charging.

Safety and Technology

It's hard to sit inside behind the steering wheel of the new Chevy Bolt EUV without focusing on the impressive 10.2-inch touchscreen that opens up a world of possibilities for infotainment functions while you're on the go. Available tech features include smartphone integration like Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Amazon Alexa, as well as an integrated Wi-Fi hotspot and more. Your Bolt EUV also features a smartphone app that will alert you when charging is finished and help you find nearby charging stations, which will help if you're taking off on longer road trips beyond the North Charleston area.

Standard in the new Bolt EUV is some of Chevy's driver assistance technology. Base-level features for safety include forward collision avoidance and lane-keeping assist. More driver aids are added through available options, including the Super Cruise semiautonomous driving system that allows you to maintain steady speeds at safe distances while on the highway without needing to touch the steering wheel of the pedals.

Chevy Bolt EUV Interior

There's a lot to love about the roomy and comfortable cabin of the new Chevy Bolt EUV. With a flat-bottom steering wheel and push-button "gear" selector, you'll be on your way right off the bat, while the rear seats have more space than the smaller Bolt EV's cabin setup. This is the kind of electric crossover to go after if you'll regularly have other passengers and plenty of cargo riding along with you, and thanks to the high-end materials and nice options available, your Bolt EUV's cabin will be prepared for all your travels with all kinds of passengers in tow.
