Crews In The Community

Crews Chevrolet Cares: It's in Our Blood

As a proud member of the Charleston community, Crews Chevrolet has made a significant impact through our regular blood drives and unwavering support for charitable organizations like the Ronald McDonald House. We are honored to be able to give back to our community, and have been taking care of Low Country needs for 30 years.

How Crews Chevrolet Gives Back to the Community
One of our most important initiatives is organizing regular blood drives in collaboration with local blood banks and medical facilities. We understand the critical need for blood donations and are honored to play a part in saving lives and fostering a culture of giving. Our blood drives serve as a rallying point for the community, bringing together individuals who are eager to make a difference by donating blood.
Hosting these drives goes beyond providing a venue; we actively engage our staff, customers, and the wider community to participate. Together with our partners, we ensure that the drives are well-organized, efficient, and safe. Our team works closely with medical professionals to address any concerns and create a welcoming environment for donors. This approach has encouraged more people to participate and established a supportive atmosphere where everyone feels valued and appreciated.

The impact of our blood drives on the community has been immense. By organizing these events regularly, we have helped meet the ongoing demand for blood transfusions in local hospitals, saving countless lives. Our efforts have had a profound impact on accident victims, surgical patients, individuals with chronic illnesses, and countless others who depend on blood donations for their survival and overall well-being.

Beyond the direct impact on individuals, our blood drives have fostered a sense of unity and community spirit. These events bring people together, creating a shared purpose and a collective understanding of the importance of giving back. By actively involving our customers, staff, and partners, we have built a culture of compassion and generosity that extends far beyond our dealership's walls.

Join Us by Donating at Our Next Drive
Crews Chevrolet remains dedicated to our community and will continue to organize blood drives, support charitable organizations, and seek new ways to uplift those in need. Together with the support of our incredible community, we are confident that we can create a brighter future and make a lasting impact on the lives of those who call Charleston home.

Our Support of Charleston County School District

Each year, Crews Chevrolet partners with the Charleston County School District to celebrate and honor the dedication of our local educators. As part of this partnership, we provide the Teacher of the Year with a brand new vehicle to drive for an entire year. This is our way of saying thank you to the educators in our community.

Supporting our local schools is important because strong education systems help create thriving communities. When educators feel recognized and supported, it positively impacts students, families, and the overall well-being of the area. We're proud to invest in those who invest in our youth.

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer

Every October, Crews Chevrolet proudly participates in Breast Cancer Awareness Month through our involvement with Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. Our service team shows support by wearing pink every Friday throughout the month, as well as any day throughout the rest of the year, bringing awareness to those impacted. Additionally, we keep our pink ribbon display up on our building year-round as a constant reminder of our commitment to fighting breast cancer.

Crews Chevrolet Loves Supporting Surfers Healing Folly Beach

Surfers Healing is a surf camp for children with autism during which they can surf with pro surfers from around the world and some of Folly's finest. Crews Chevrolet is a proud supporter of Surfers Healing Folly Beach, and each year, we provide the organization with a vehicle for the week before and after the event. This gives the team the ability to easily transport food, drinks, equipment, and other essential supplies needed to bring everything together.

The Ronald McDonald House of Charleston

Crews Chevrolet is a long-standing supporter of the Ronald McDonald House of Charleston. Each year, we proudly serve as a major sponsor of both the McDonald's Dr. Pepper Golf Tournament at Kiawah and the Fall Charity Golf Tournament at Bulls Bay-two key fundraising events that directly benefit the house and the families staying at the House every day. Beyond financial support, Crews Chevrolet also provides volunteers for a wide range of activities throughout the year and offers vehicles to assist with various events and operational needs.

The Holy Smokes Barbecue Festival

For the past several years, Crews Chevrolet has served as the official vehicle sponsor of the Holy Smokes BBQ Festival. This community event raises money for Hogs for the Cause, which supports children battling brain cancer, as well as the Ronald McDonald House of Charleston, which provides housing and care for families with hospitalized children. This ties perfectly with our love of the Ronald McDonald House.

Coastal Carolina Corvette Club

Crews Chevrolet is a proud annual sponsor of the Coastal Carolina Corvette Club. Through this partnership, we help support the club's community events, the proceeds of which are donated to various local charities. Our involvement allows us to contribute to their mission of giving back.

Supporting the South Carolina Stingrays

Crews Chevrolet is proud to be the official vehicle sponsor of the South Carolina Stingrays. The Crews organization has supported the team for 22 years, and Crews Chevrolet alone has been a sponsor for 13 years.

Our Involvement With Jean’s Angels

Crews Chevrolet is honored to support Jean's Angels, a nonprofit dedicated to serving individuals experiencing homelessness. We provide a 2500 Chevrolet truck that they use to tow their washer-and-dryer trailer as well as their mobile shower station, complete with a barber chair and snack pantry. These essential resources travel to homeless camps across the community, offering support to people working toward rehabilitation. In addition to providing the vehicle, we also handle maintenance and continue to sponsor the many outreach events they organize throughout the community.
At Crews Chevrolet, Crews Subaru and Crews Collision Centers, our entire Team -- Owner, Managers and Team Members --  understand that we are blessed to be able to work in the Low Country. We are honored to be able to give back to our community. Our Team has been taking care of Low Country auto needs for nearly 30 years.
